²⁸ Ἐλθόντι (Having come) δὲ (now) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house), προσῆλθον (came) αὐτῷ (to Him) οἱ (the) τυφλοί (blind men), καὶ (and) λέγει (says) αὐτοῖς (to them) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Πιστεύετε (Believe you) ὅτι (that) δύναμαι (I am able) τοῦτο (this) ποιῆσαι (to do)?” Λέγουσιν (They say) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ναί (Yes), Κύριε (Lord).”

² καὶ (And) ἰδοὺ (behold), λεπρὸς (a leper) προσελθὼν (having come), προσεκύνει (was worshipping) αὐτῷ (Him), λέγων (saying), “Κύριε (Lord), ἐὰν (if) θέλῃς (You are willing), δύνασαί (You are able) με (me) καθαρίσαι (to cleanse).”

¹⁴ Καὶ (And) ἐλθὼν (having come) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἰς (to) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house) Πέτρου (of Peter), εἶδεν (He saw) τὴν (the) πενθερὰν (mother-in-law) αὐτοῦ (of him) βεβλημένην (lying sick) καὶ (and) πυρέσσουσαν (fevering).

²² Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), στραφεὶς (having turned) καὶ (and) ἰδὼν (having seen) αὐτὴν (her), εἶπεν (said), “Θάρσει (Take courage), θύγατερ (daughter); ἡ (the) πίστις (faith) σου (of you) σέσωκέν (has cured) σε (you).” καὶ (And) ἐσώθη (was cured) ἡ (the) γυνὴ (woman) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) ὥρας (hour) ἐκείνης (very).

³⁶ Τότε (Then) ἀφεὶς (having dismissed) τοὺς (the) ὄχλους (crowds), ἦλθεν (He went) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house). Καὶ (And) προσῆλθον (came) αὐτῷ (to Him) οἱ (the) μαθηταὶ (disciples) αὐτοῦ (of Him), λέγοντες (saying), “Διασάφησον (Explain) ἡμῖν (to us) τὴν (the) παραβολὴν (parable) τῶν (of the) ζιζανίων (weeds) τοῦ (of the) ἀγροῦ (field).”

⁵⁸ καὶ (And) οὐκ (not) ἐποίησεν (He did) ἐκεῖ (there) δυνάμεις (miracles) πολλὰς (many), διὰ (because of) τὴν (the) ἀπιστίαν (unbelief) αὐτῶν (of them).

²³ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to him), “Τὸ (-) Εἰ (If) δύνῃ (You are able)? πάντα (All things) δυνατὰ (are possible) τῷ (to the one) πιστεύοντι (believing).” ²⁴ Εὐθὺς (Immediately) κράξας (having cried out), ὁ (the) πατὴρ (father) τοῦ (of the) παιδίου (child) ἔλεγεν (was saying), “Πιστεύω (I believe); βοήθει (help) μου (of me) τῇ (the) ἀπιστίᾳ (unbelief)!”

⁴⁸ Εἶπεν (Said) οὖν (therefore) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) πρὸς (to) αὐτόν (him), “Ἐὰν (If) μὴ (not) σημεῖα (signs) καὶ (and) τέρατα (wonders) ἴδητε (you people see), οὐ (no) μὴ (not) πιστεύσητε (will you believe).” ⁴⁹ Λέγει (Says) πρὸς (to) αὐτὸν (Him) ὁ (the) βασιλικός (royal official), “Κύριε (Sir), κατάβηθι (come down) πρὶν (before) ἀποθανεῖν (dies) τὸ (the) παιδίον (child) μου (of me).” ⁵⁰ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῷ (to him) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Πορεύου (Go), ὁ (the) υἱός (son) σου (of you) ζῇ (lives).” Ἐπίστευσεν (Believed) ὁ (the) ἄνθρωπος (man) τῷ (the) λόγῳ (word) ὃν (that) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to him) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), καὶ (and) ἐπορεύετο (he went on his way).

²⁶ καὶ (and) πᾶς (everyone) ὁ (-) ζῶν (living) καὶ (and) πιστεύων (believing) εἰς (in) ἐμὲ (Me), οὐ (never) μὴ (not) ἀποθάνῃ (shall die), εἰς (to) τὸν (the) αἰῶνα (age). πιστεύεις (Believe you) τοῦτο (this)?”

⁴⁰ Λέγει (Says) αὐτῇ (to her) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Οὐκ (Not) εἶπόν (said I) σοι (to you) ὅτι (that) ἐὰν (if) πιστεύσῃς (you should believe), ὄψῃ (you will see) τὴν (the) δόξαν (glory) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God).”
