²³ Καὶ (And) περιῆγεν (He was going) ἐν (throughout) ὅλῃ (all) τῇ (-) Γαλιλαίᾳ (Galilee), διδάσκων (teaching) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) συναγωγαῖς (synagogues) αὐτῶν (of them), καὶ (and) κηρύσσων (proclaiming) τὸ (the) εὐαγγέλιον (gospel) τῆς (of the) βασιλείας (kingdom), καὶ (and) θεραπεύων (healing) πᾶσαν (every) νόσον (disease) καὶ (and) πᾶσαν (every) μαλακίαν (sickness) ἐν (among) τῷ (the) λαῷ (people). ²⁴ καὶ (And) ἀπῆλθεν (went out) ἡ (the) ἀκοὴ (news) αὐτοῦ (of Him) εἰς (into) ὅλην (all) τὴν (-) Συρίαν (Syria). καὶ (And) προσήνεγκαν (they brought) αὐτῷ (to Him) πάντας (all) τοὺς (the) κακῶς (sick) ἔχοντας (having) ποικίλαις (various) νόσοις (diseases) καὶ (and) βασάνοις (pains) συνεχομένους (oppressing), [καὶ] (and) δαιμονιζομένους (being possessed by demons), καὶ (and) σεληνιαζομένους (being epileptics), καὶ (and) παραλυτικούς (paralytics); καὶ (and) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) αὐτούς (them). ²⁵ Καὶ (And) ἠκολούθησαν (followed) αὐτῷ (Him) ὄχλοι (crowds) πολλοὶ (great) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (-) Γαλιλαίας (Galilee), καὶ (and) Δεκαπόλεως (the Decapolis), καὶ (and) Ἱεροσολύμων (Jerusalem), καὶ (and) Ἰουδαίας (Judea), καὶ (and) πέραν (beyond) τοῦ (the) Ἰορδάνου (Jordan).

³⁵ Καὶ (And) περιῆγεν (was going throughout) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) τὰς (the) πόλεις (cities) πάσας (all) καὶ (and) τὰς (the) κώμας (villages), διδάσκων (teaching) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) συναγωγαῖς (synagogues) αὐτῶν (of them), καὶ (and) κηρύσσων (proclaiming) τὸ (the) εὐαγγέλιον (gospel) τῆς (of the) βασιλείας (kingdom), καὶ (and) θεραπεύων (healing) πᾶσαν (every) νόσον (disease) καὶ (and) πᾶσαν (every) μαλακίαν (sickness). ³⁶ Ἰδὼν (Having seen) δὲ (now) τοὺς (the) ὄχλους (crowds), ἐσπλαγχνίσθη (He was moved with compassion) περὶ (for) αὐτῶν (them), ὅτι (because) ἦσαν (they were) ἐσκυλμένοι (wearied) καὶ (and) ἐρριμμένοι (cast away), ὡσεὶ (as) πρόβατα (sheep) μὴ (not) ἔχοντα (having) ποιμένα (a shepherd).

¹⁵ Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), γνοὺς (having known), ἀνεχώρησεν (withdrew) ἐκεῖθεν (from there). καὶ (And) ἠκολούθησαν (followed) αὐτῷ (Him) [ὄχλοι] (multitudes) πολλοί (great), καὶ (and) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) αὐτοὺς (them) πάντας (all),

³⁵ καὶ (And) ἐπιγνόντες (having recognized) αὐτὸν (Him), οἱ (the) ἄνδρες (men) τοῦ (the) τόπου (place) ἐκείνου (of that) ἀπέστειλαν (sent) εἰς (to) ὅλην (all) τὴν (the) περίχωρον (surrounding region) ἐκείνην (that) καὶ (and) προσήνεγκαν (brought) αὐτῷ (to Him) πάντας (all) τοὺς (those) κακῶς (sick) ἔχοντας (being), ³⁶ καὶ (and) παρεκάλουν (they were begging) αὐτὸν (Him) ἵνα (that) μόνον (only) ἅψωνται (they might touch) τοῦ (the) κρασπέδου (fringe) τοῦ (of the) ἱματίου (garment) αὐτοῦ (of Him); καὶ (and) ὅσοι (as many as) ἥψαντο (touched) διεσώθησαν (were cured).

³⁰ καὶ (And) προσῆλθον (came) αὐτῷ (to Him) ὄχλοι (crowds) πολλοὶ (great), ἔχοντες (having) μεθ’ (with) ἑαυτῶν (them) χωλούς (lame), κυλλούς (crippled), τυφλούς (blind), κωφούς (mute), καὶ (and) ἑτέρους (others) πολλούς (many), καὶ (and) ἔρριψαν* (they placed) αὐτοὺς (them) παρὰ (at) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) ἐθεράπευσεν (He healed) αὐτούς (them); ³¹ ὥστε (so that) τὸν (the) ὄχλον (crowd) θαυμάσαι (marveled), βλέποντας (seeing) κωφοὺς (mute) λαλοῦντας (speaking), κυλλοὺς (crippled) ὑγιεῖς (restored), καὶ (and) χωλοὺς (lame) περιπατοῦντας (walking), καὶ (and) τυφλοὺς (blind) βλέποντας (seeing); καὶ (and) ἐδόξασαν (they glorified) τὸν (the) Θεὸν (God) Ἰσραήλ (of Israel).

⁵⁵ περιέδραμον (they ran around) ὅλην (all) τὴν (the) χώραν (country) ἐκείνην (that), καὶ (and) ἤρξαντο (they began) ἐπὶ (on) τοῖς (the) κραβάττοις (mats) τοὺς (those) κακῶς (sick) ἔχοντας (being) περιφέρειν (to carry about), ὅπου (to wherever) ἤκουον (they were hearing) ὅτι (that) ἐστίν (He is). ⁵⁶ καὶ (And) ὅπου (wherever) ἂν (-) εἰσεπορεύετο (He entered) εἰς (into) κώμας (villages) ἢ (or) εἰς (into) πόλεις (cities) ἢ (or) εἰς (into) ἀγροὺς (fields), ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἀγοραῖς (marketplaces) ἐτίθεσαν (they were laying) τοὺς (the) ἀσθενοῦντας (ailing), καὶ (and) παρεκάλουν (were begging) αὐτὸν (Him) ἵνα (that) κἂν (only) τοῦ (the) κρασπέδου (fringe) τοῦ (the) ἱματίου (clothing) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἅψωνται (they might touch); καὶ (and) ὅσοι (as many as) ἂν (-) ἥψαντο (touched) αὐτοῦ (Him) ἐσῴζοντο (were being healed).
