¹¹ καὶ (And) οὐ (no) μὴ (not) διδάξωσιν (shall they teach) ἕκαστος (each) τὸν (the) πολίτην (neighbor) αὐτοῦ (of him), καὶ (and) ἕκαστος (each) τὸν (the) ἀδελφὸν (brother) αὐτοῦ (of him) λέγων (saying), ‘Γνῶθι (Know) τὸν (the) Κύριον (Lord),’ ὅτι (because) πάντες (all) εἰδήσουσίν (will know) με (Me), ἀπὸ (from) μικροῦ (the least) ἕως (to the) μεγάλου (greatest) αὐτῶν (of them),

⁴⁵ ἔστιν (It is) γεγραμμένον (written) ἐν (in) τοῖς (the) προφήταις (prophets): ‘Καὶ (And) ἔσονται (they will be) πάντες (all) διδακτοὶ (taught) Θεοῦ (of God).’ πᾶς (Everyone) ὁ (-) ἀκούσας (having heard) παρὰ (from) τοῦ (the) Πατρὸς (Father) καὶ (and) μαθὼν (having learned), ἔρχεται (comes) πρὸς (to) ἐμέ (Me).

¹⁰ ᾧ (to whom) προσεῖχον (were giving heed) πάντες (all), ἀπὸ (from) μικροῦ (small) ἕως (to) μεγάλου (great), λέγοντες (saying), “Οὗτός (This one) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) δύναμις (power) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἡ (that) καλουμένη (is called) Μεγάλη (Great).”

²⁷ καὶ (And) ὑμεῖς (you), τὸ (the) χρῖσμα (anointing) ὃ (that) ἐλάβετε (you received) ἀπ’ (from) αὐτοῦ (Him), μένει (abides) ἐν (in) ὑμῖν (you), καὶ (and) οὐ (not) χρείαν (need) ἔχετε (you have) ἵνα (that) τις (anyone) διδάσκῃ (should teach) ὑμᾶς (you). ἀλλ’ (But) ὡς (just as) τὸ (the) αὐτοῦ (same) χρῖσμα (anointing) διδάσκει (teaches) ὑμᾶς (you) περὶ (concerning) πάντων (all things), καὶ (and) ἀληθές (true) ἐστιν (is), καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (is) ψεῦδος (a lie); καὶ (and) καθὼς (just as) ἐδίδαξεν (it has taught) ὑμᾶς (you), μένετε (you shall abide) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (Him).

²⁰ οἴδαμεν (We know) δὲ (now) ὅτι (that) ὁ (the) Υἱὸς (Son) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἥκει (is come), καὶ (and) δέδωκεν (has given) ἡμῖν (us) διάνοιαν (understanding), ἵνα (so that) γινώσκωμεν* (we may know) τὸν (Him who is) ἀληθινόν (true); καὶ (and) ἐσμὲν (we are) ἐν (in) τῷ (Him who is) ἀληθινῷ (true), ἐν (in) τῷ (the) Υἱῷ (Son) αὐτοῦ (of Him), Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) Χριστῷ (Christ). οὗτός (He) ἐστιν (is) ὁ (the) ἀληθινὸς (true) Θεὸς (God) καὶ (and) ζωὴ (life) αἰώνιος (eternal).
