²⁰ A bruised reed he shall not break, and a smoking wick he shall not extinguish, till he shall send forth his law for conquest.

²⁸ Come to me, all you that are weary, and heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

¹⁸ The Spirit of the Lord is upon me; because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the broken hearted; to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind; to set free the oppressed;

¹⁴ Now, thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in the Christ, and sheds in every place, by us, the fragrance of the knowledge of himself.

³ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, ⁴ (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty, through God, for the overthrowing of strongholds,) ⁵ overthrowing reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and leading captive every thought to the obedience of the Christ,

¹² Wherefore, lift up the hands that hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees, ¹³ and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned aside; but rather let it be restored to health.

² And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given to him; and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Come, gather yourselves to the great supper of God, ¹⁸ that you may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of officers, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all, both freemen and servants, both small and great. ¹⁹ And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, assembled together to make war with him that sat on the horse, and with his army. ²⁰ And the beast was taken, and the false prophet that was with him, who did signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire, which burns with brim stone. ²¹ And the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat on the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
