¹⁸ And it came to pass, as he was praying in a retired place, that his disciples were with him; and he asked them, saying: "Who do the multitudes say that I am?

¹³ When Jesus came into the regions of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying: Who do men say that I, the Son of man, am? ¹⁴ They replied: Some say that thou art John the Immerser; others, Elijah; others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. ¹⁵ He said to them: But who say you that I am? ¹⁶ Simon Peter answered and said: Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

³⁶ Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to his disciples: Sit here, till I go and pray yonder.
