¹¹ But that no one is justified by law in the sight of God, is evident: for the just by faith shall live.

¹⁷ For in it God's plan of justifying men by faith is revealed, in order to faith: as it is written, He that is justified by faith, shall live.

¹⁶ knowing that a man is not justified by works of law, but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed on Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of law: because, by works of law no flesh shall be justified.

³⁸ But the just by faith shall live; and if he draw back, my soul will have no pleasure in him.

² For in many things we all offend. If any one offends not in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, so that he will forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying: Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation:

¹⁴ And I said to him: Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me: These are they who have come out of great affliction, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. ¹⁵ Therefore, they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple; and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
