⁴ And you fathers, do not provoke your children to anger: but bring them up in the instruction and discipline of the Lord.

²¹ Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be disheartened.

⁵ for I remember the unfeigned faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and in your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that it dwells in you also.
