¹¹ He answered, and said to them: Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven; but to them it is not given.

¹⁰ And the angel said to them: Be not afraid; for, behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be for all people. ¹¹ For there is born for you this day, in the city of David, a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

¹⁰ He replied: To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that when they see, they may not see, and when they hear, they may not understand.

⁶ Yet we speak wisdom among the perfect; but not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are brought to nought: ⁷ but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, even that which had been hidden, which God predestined before the ages, for our glory,

¹ Let each one so think of us as ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

² And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

⁶ But if I am unpolished in my style of speech, yet I am not so in knowledge. But we have been fully manifested among you in all things.

⁹ by making known to us the mystery of his will according to his good purpose which he had before established in himself,

³² Great is this mystery; but I speak of Christ and of the church.

¹⁹ and for me, that speech may be given me, in opening my mouth with boldness, that I may make known the mystery of the gospel,

² that their hearts may be comforted, they being firmly united in love in order to gain all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may acknowledge the mystery of God, even the Father, and of Christ,

³ praying at the same time also for us, that God may open for us a door of utterance to speak the mystery of the Christ, for which I am in bonds,

⁹ holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.

¹⁶ And confessedly great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in flesh, justified in spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.
