¹⁸ that, being rooted and founded in love, you may be fully able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and depth and hight,

¹³ Greater love has no man than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.

³ For being ignorant of God's plan of justification, and seeking to establish their own plan of justification, they have not submitted to God's plan of justification.

¹¹ For the scripture says: He that believes on him shall not be ashamed. ¹² For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all that call on him:

¹³ { (13:12) Salute one another with a holy kiss. All the saints salute you.}

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ, yet I live; no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

¹³ Christ has bought us off from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us: (for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:)

¹⁰ for a dispensation at the fullness of the times, in order that he might bring together for himself all things in the Christ, both those which are in the heavens, and those which are on earth;

¹⁵ For this reason I also, since I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love to all the saints,

¹⁸ that, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints, ¹⁹ and what is the exceeding greatness of his power to ward us who believe in accordance with the energy of his mighty power, ²⁰ which he made active in the Christ when he raised him from the dead, and caused him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, ²¹ high above every principality and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come; ²² and subjected all things under his feet, and made him head over all things for the church, ²³ which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all his members with all things,

¹⁹ and to know the love of the Christ that passes our knowledge, that you may be filled with aft the fullness of God.

⁵ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, ⁶ who, being in the form of God, did not think it an act of robbery to be equal with God; ⁷ but he divested himself by taking the form of a servant, and being made in the likeness of men: ⁸ and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient even to death, the death, indeed, of the cross.

⁸ Yes, verily, I also count all things to be loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ, ⁹ and be found in him, not having my own righteousness which was by law, but the righteousness which is by faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith, ¹⁰ that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, by conforming myself to his death,

⁴ since we heard of your faithfulness in Christ Jesus, and your love for all the saints,

¹⁴ and the grace of our Lord was very abundant with faith, and love which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁵ Assuredly true and worthy of all acceptation is this saying: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ¹⁶ But for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all long-suffering, for an example to those who might afterward believe on him in order to life eternal.

¹⁶ And confessedly great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in flesh, justified in spirit, seen by angels, preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

¹³ looking for the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, ¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

²¹ To him that overcomes, I will give to sit with me in my throne, even as I also have overcome, and have taken my seat with my father in his throne.
