¹⁵ and you slew the Author of life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.

² And behold, there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord having descended from heaven, came and rolled away the stone from the door, and sat upon it. ³ His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment was white as snow. ⁴ From fear of him the keepers did shake and become like dead men. ⁵ But the angel answered and said to the women: Fear not; for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified.

⁴ In him was life, and the life was the light of men.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said to her: If you had known the gift of God, and who it is that said to you, Give me to drink, you would have asked of him, and he would have given you living water.

¹⁴ but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him, shall never thirst. But the water that I will give him, shall be in him a fountain of water springing up in order to eternal life.

²⁶ For as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to the Son also to have life in himself;

²⁸ and I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall take them out of my hand.

²⁵ Jesus said to her: I am the resurrection, and the life; he that believes on me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; ²⁶ and he that lives and believes on me, shall never die. Do you believe this?

⁶ Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.

² as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all that thou hast given him.

²² beginning from the immersion of John till the day on which he was taken up from us, must one be appointed as a witness with us of his resurrection.

²⁴ whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible for him to be held in subjection by it.

³² This Jesus has God raised up, of which we all are witnesses.

³¹ Him has God exalted to his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, in order to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins:

⁴⁰ Him God raised up the third day, and caused him to appear, ⁴¹ not to all the people, but to witnesses who were be fore appointed by God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him, after he rose from the dead.

³⁰ But God raised him. from the dead. ³¹ And he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people. ³² And we preach to you good news concerning the promise made to our fathers,

¹ There is now, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. ² For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin, and of death.

⁴⁵ So, also, it is written: The first man Adam became a living soul, the last Adam a life-giving spirit.

²⁰ which he made active in the Christ when he raised him from the dead, and caused him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places,

³ for you are dead, and your life is hid with the Christ in God. ⁴ When the Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory.

¹⁰ For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the author of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

⁹ and, having been made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey him,

¹¹ And this is the testimony, that God has given us eternal life: and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that has the Son, has life: he that has not the Son of God, has not life.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true: and we are in him that is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and life eternal. Little children, keep yourselves from idols.

⁶ And he said to me: It is done; I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him that thirsts, I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely.

¹ And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming out from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

¹⁷ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come; and let him that hears, say, Come; and let him that is thirsty, come; -and let him that is willing, take the water of life freely.
