2 Timothy Cross References - Anderson

1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, according to the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus, 2 to Timothy my beloved son; grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord. 3 I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, after the custom of my forefathers, that, without ceasing, I have remembrance of you in my prayers night and day, 4 greatly desiring to see you, being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled with joy; 5 for I remember the unfeigned faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and in your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that it dwells in you also. 6 Wherefore I exhort you to kindle up the gift of God that is in you by the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8 Be not, therefore, ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, his prisoner: but jointly suffer evil in the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus be fore the times of the ages, 10 but is now made manifest by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has deprived death of its power, and brought life and incorruptibility to light through the gospel; 11 to which I have been appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles; 12 for which cause I also suffer these things; yet I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have intrusted to him till that day. 13 Hold fast the form of sound words which you have heard from me, in faithfulness and in love which is in Christ Jesus. 14 That good thing which was intrusted to you, keep by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us. 15 You know this, that all those who are in Asia have turned away from me; all those, I say, of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes. 16 May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain: 17 but when he was in Rome, he sought for me very diligently, and found me. 18 The Lord grant to him, that he may find mercy from the Lord in that day. And in how many things he ministered to me in Ephesus, you know very well.

Enter into the joy of your lord. 22 And he also that had received the two talents came, and said: Lord, you delivered to me two talents; see, I have gained other two talents in addition to them. 23 His lord said to him: Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many. Enter into the joy of your lord. 24 But he that had received the one talent came, and said: Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter. 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth; see, you have yours. 26 His lord answered and said to him: Wicked and slothful servant; did you know that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I did not scatter? 27 Therefore, you ought to have put my money with the bankers; and, when I came, I could have received my own with interest. 28 Therefore, take from him the talent, and give it to him that has the ten talents. 29 For to every one that has, it shall be given, and he shall have abundance. But from him that has not, even that which he has shall be taken away. 30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the darkness without. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Romans 8:28-39

28 And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew, he predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren: 30 and those whom he predestinated he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified. 31 What, then, shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how will he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 "Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died: rather, indeed, that has risen, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall affliction, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword? 36 As it is written: For thy sake, we are killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 15 For he says to Moses: I will show mercy to whom I will show mercy; and I will show compassion to whom I will show compassion. 16 Therefore, it is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. 17 For the scripture says to Pharaoh: For this very purpose have I raised you up, that I may show in you my power, and that my name may be published in all the earth. 18 Therefore, he has mercy on whom he wills to have mercy: and whom he wills to harden, he hardens. 19 You will then say to me, Why does he yet find fault? For who has resisted his will? 20 No, but rather, O man, who are you that dispute with God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed, it, Why have you made me thus? 21 Has not the potter power over the clay, to make from the same mass one vessel for honor, and another for dishonor? 22 What, then, if God, intending to show his wrath, and to make his power known, yet, in much long-suffering bore with the vessels of wrath fitted for destruction: 23 and, that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy which he before prepared for glory, showed mercy to us, 24 whom he has called, not only from among the Jews, but also from the Gentiles?

Romans 9:33

33 as it is written: Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense: and whoever believes on him, shall not be ashamed.

Romans 11:5-6

5 Thus, then, at the present time also, there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if the election is by grace, it is no longer by works; otherwise grace is no longer grace.

Romans 12:6-8

6 Since, then, we have gifts which differ according to the grace that is given to us, whether we have the gift of prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; 7 or, if we have a ministry, let us be active in our ministry; if any one teaches, let him attend to his teaching; 8 or, if any exhorts, let him attend to exhortation; if any one gives, let him do it with sincerity; he that rules, with diligence: he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

Romans 12:19

19 Beloved, avenge not yourselves, but give place to the wrath of God; for it is written: Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.

Romans 14:5

5 One man thinks that one day is better than another; another thinks that every day is alike. Let each be fully assured in his own mind.

Romans 14:14

14 I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself; but if any one thinks that any thing is unclean, to him it is unclean.

Romans 15:12-13

12 And again, Isaiah says: There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to rule the Gentiles, in him shall the Gentiles trust. 13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in the hope, by the power of the Holy Spirit. PAET IV. Conclusion. 14 And I myself am persuaded concerning you, my brethren, that you yourselves are full of all goodness, having been filled with all knowledge, able also to instruct one another.

Romans 15:30-32

30 Now I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me, in your prayers to God for me, 31 that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that this service of mine, which is for Jerusalem, may be acceptable to the saints; 32 that I may come to you with joy, by the will of God, and may be refreshed among you.

Romans 16:25

25 Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel, even the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which was concealed during the times of the ages, 26 but is now made manifest, and through the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, made known among all nations for the obedience of faith,

1 Corinthians 1:1

1 PAUL, a called apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Sostlienes my brother,

1 Corinthians 1:6

6 even as the testimony concerning the Christ was con firmed among you,

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the preaching of the cross is to those who perish, foolishness; but to us who are saved, it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 2:4

4 and my speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

1 Corinthians 3:13

13 each man's work shall be made manifest; for the day shall make it manifest, for it is revealed with fire: and the fire shall try each man's work, what sort it is.

1 Corinthians 3:16

16 Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 3:21-22

21 Therefore, let no one glory in men; for all things are yours, 22 whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours:

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 So, then, judge nothing be fore the time, till the Lord comes, who will bring to light the secret works of darkness, and will also make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall each have his praise from God.

1 Corinthians 4:9-13

9 For I think that God has appointed us the apostles, to the lowest place, as under sentence of death; for we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ; we are weak, but you are strong; you are honored, but we are despised. 11 Even to this present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are poorly clothed, and are maltreated, and wander about without a home, 12 and labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; 13 when defamed, we entreat; we have become like the outcasts of the world, the offscouring of all things to this day.

1 Corinthians 6:19

19 Know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, which you have from God, and that you are not your own?

1 Corinthians 9:17

17 For if I do this willingly, I have a reward; but if unwillingly, an apostolic stewardship has been intrusted to me.

1 Corinthians 15:26

26 The last enemy, Death, shall be destroyed.

1 Corinthians 15:53-55

53 For this corruptible body must put on incorruptibility; and this mortal body must put on immortality. 54 And when this corruptible body shall have put on incorruptibility, and this mortal body shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the word that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 Death, where is thy sting? Hades, where is thy victory?

1 Corinthians 16:8

8 But I will continue in Ephesus till Pentecost:

1 Corinthians 16:18

18 for they have refreshed my spirit, and yours. There fore, acknowledge such. 19 The churches of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla, with the church that is in their house, send you many salutations in the Lord.

2 Corinthians 1:1

1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, and Timothy my brother, to the church of God which is in Corinth, with all the saints that are in all Achaia:

2 Corinthians 1:12

12 For the ground of our rejoicing is this: the testimony of our conscience that we have lived in the world more abundantly, indeed, for you in sincerity and godly purity, not in carnal wisdom, but in the grace of God.

2 Corinthians 1:20

20 For whatever promises of God there are, are in him yes, and in him amen, to the glory of God by us.

2 Corinthians 5:4

4 For we who are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not because we wish to be unclothed, but clothed upon, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

2 Corinthians 5:13-14

13 For if we be beside our selves, it is for God; or, if we be of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ constrains us, because we have this judgment that if one died for all, then have all died:

2 Corinthians 5:16

16 So, then, we henceforth know no man according to the flesh; if, indeed, we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we no longer thus know him.

2 Corinthians 5:19-20

19 that is, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to him self, not charging their offenses to them, and he has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we act as ambassadors for Christ, as though God entreated through us; we beseech in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God:

2 Corinthians 6:6

6 by purity, by knowledge, by long forbearance, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by love unfeigned, 7 by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,

2 Corinthians 9:1

1 For of the relief which is for the saints, it is needless for me to write to you.

2 Corinthians 9:12-14

12 because the administration of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also abounds in many thanksgivings to God; 13 (since through the proof which this service gives, they glorify God for your acknowledged subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for the liberality of your contribution for them, and for all;) 14 and in their prayer for you, since they have strong affection for you on account of the eminent grace of God that is in you.

2 Corinthians 11:23-27

23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I say it foolishly,) I am above them. In labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often. 24 From the Jews, five times I received forty stripes, save one; 25 three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three- times I have been shipwrecked; a night and a day I spent in the deep. 26 In journeying s often, in perils from rivers, in perils from robbers, in perils from my own race, in perils from the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the desert, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; 27 in weariness and in toil, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness:

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 and he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you; for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I boast in my infirmities, that the power of the Christ may abide upon me. 10 For this reason, I take pleasure in infirmities, in outrages, in necessities, in persecutions, in straits, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.

Galatians 1:14

14 and I surpassed in Judaism many of my own age and nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the tradition of my fathers.

Galatians 2:7

7 but; on the other hand, seeing that I was intrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, as Peter was with that of the circumcision,

Galatians 5:4

4 You that are justified by law, have withdrawn from Christ: you have fallen from grace.

Galatians 5:22

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness,

Ephesians 1:3-4

3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly things in Christ, 4 according as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love,

Ephesians 1:9

9 by making known to us the mystery of his will according to his good purpose which he had before established in himself,

Ephesians 1:11

11 in him in whom we have obtained our portion, having been predestinated according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, 12 that we should be for the praise of his glory; even we, who before had hope in the Christ: 13 in whom you also hoped after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom, after you also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 1:16

16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers,

Ephesians 1:18

18 that, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened, you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the glorious riches of his inheritance in the saints,

Ephesians 2:4

4 but God, being rich in mercy, on account of his great love with which he loved us, 5 made alive with Christ even us, being dead to our offenses, (by grace you are saved,)

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For by grace you have been saved through the faith; and this matter is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: 9 not by works, lest any one should boast.

Ephesians 2:22

22 in whom you also are builded together, for a dwelling-place of God by his Spirit.

Ephesians 3:1

1 For this reason, I Paul, the prisoner of the Christ Jesus on account of you Gentiles,

Ephesians 3:1-8

1 For this reason, I Paul, the prisoner of the Christ Jesus on account of you Gentiles, 2 if, indeed, you have heard of the stewardship of the grace of God, which was given to me for your benefit, 3 that by revelation was made known to me the mystery, (as I briefly wrote above, 4 so that, when you read, you can see my understanding in the mystery of the Christ,) 5 which, in other generations, was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6 that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in the Christ, through the gospel,

Ephesians 3:6-8

6 that the Gentiles should be fellow-heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in the Christ, through the gospel, 7 of which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me, in proportion to the energy of his power: 8 to me, who am by far the least of all the saints, has this grace been given, that I might preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of the Christ,

Ephesians 3:11

11 according to the arrangement of the ages, which he established by Christ Jesus our Lord,

Ephesians 3:13

13 For which cause I beseech you not to grow faint on account of my afflictions for you, which are your glory.

Ephesians 4:1

1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, exhort you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called;

Ephesians 4:17

17 This I say, therefore, and appeal to you solemnly in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the other Gentiles walk, in the error of their minds,

Ephesians 5:18

18 And be not drunk with wine, in which is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit;

Ephesians 6:20

20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Philippians 1:7

7 as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; both in my bonds and in my defense and confirmation of the gospel, I say I have you all in my heart as being joint par takers of my grace. 8 For God is my witness how ardently I love you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 1:20

20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but with all boldness, as at all times, so even now, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death.

Philippians 1:27

27 Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of the Christ, that, whether I come and see you, or be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Philippians 2:21

21 for all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:26

26 because he longed after you all, and was much distressed, because you had heard that he was sick.

Philippians 3:8

8 Yes, verily, I also count all things to be loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, on account of whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them to be refuse, that I may gain Christ,

Philippians 3:10

10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, by conforming myself to his death,

Philippians 3:21

21 who will transform our humbled body, and make it like his glorious body, according to that power by which he is able to subdue all things to himself.

Philippians 4:1

1 So, then, my brethren, beloved and ardently desired, my joy and my crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.

Philippians 4:9

9 Do those things which you have learned and received, and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:13

13 I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Colossians 1:4

4 since we heard of your faithfulness in Christ Jesus, and your love for all the saints,

Colossians 1:8

8 and who also made known to us your love in spirit.

Colossians 1:11

11 strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, in order to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness,

Colossians 1:24

24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up what remains of my sufferings for Christ in my flesh for the sake of his body, which is the church,

Colossians 1:26-27

26 the mystery which was concealed from the ages and the generations, but is now made manifest to his saints, 27 to whom God would make known what is the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory,

Colossians 4:11

11 Jesus also, who is called Justus, salutes you: these are of the circumcision: and these only are my fellow-workers for the kingdom of God, who have been a comfort to me.

1 Thessalonians 1:2-3

2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering unceasingly your work, which is the result of faith, your labor, the cause of which is love, and your patience, which springs from your hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of our God and Father:

1 Thessalonians 2:16

16 forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, in order that they may fill up their sins at all times: but the wrath is coming upon them to the full. 17 But we, brethren, having been taken from you for a short time, in person, not in heart, did, with great desire, endeavor the more earnestly to see your face.

1 Thessalonians 2:19

19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? -You indeed are our glory and

1 Thessalonians 3:4

4 for even when we were with you, we told you beforehand that we were about to be afflicted, as it also came to pass, and as you know.

1 Thessalonians 3:10

10 night and day praying exceedingly that we may see your face, and perfect that which is lacking in your faith?

1 Thessalonians 4:7

7 for God has not called us for uncleanness, but for holiness.

1 Thessalonians 5:4

4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

1 Thessalonians 5:19

19 Quench not the Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:21

21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

2 Thessalonians 2:8

8 and then shall that lawless one be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will destroy by the spirit of his mouth, and will utterly over throw by the brightness of his coming:

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14

13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God did, from the beginning, choose you to salvation, by sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth, 14 "to which he called you by our gospel, in order that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 1:1

1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the appointment of God our Savior, and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope, 2 to Timothy, my true son in the faith; grace, mercy, peace from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord. 3 As, on going into Macedonia, I besought you to remain in Ephesus, that you might charge some that they teach no other thing,

1 Timothy 1:5

5 (Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and out of a good conscience, and out of faith unfeigned:

1 Timothy 1:7

7 desiring to be teachers of law, though under standing neither what they say nor of what they boldly affirm.

1 Timothy 1:10

10 for lewd persons, for sodomites, for men-stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and for whatever other thing is opposed to sound teaching, 11 according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which has been intrusted to me.

1 Timothy 1:14

14 and the grace of our Lord was very abundant with faith, and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1 Timothy 1:19

19 holding faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust from them, as it respects faith have made shipwreck; of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander,

1 Timothy 2:6

6 who gave himself a ransom for all, of which the testimony has been given in its proper times, 7 to give which testimony I have been appointed a preacher and an apostle; (I speak the truth, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faithfulness and in truth.

1 Timothy 4:6

6 By recommending these things to the attention of the brethren, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, being nourished with the words of the faith, and of good teaching, which you have fully known.

1 Timothy 4:14

14 Neglect not the gift that is in you, which was given you according to prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the eldership.

19 treasuring up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 20 Timothy, keep that which is committed to your charge, avoiding those profane and empty babblings, and disputations about knowledge falsely so called;

2 Timothy 1:1

1 PAUL, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, according to the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus,

2 Timothy 1:5

5 for I remember the unfeigned faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois, and in your mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that it dwells in you also.

2 Timothy 1:8

8 Be not, therefore, ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me, his prisoner: but jointly suffer evil in the gospel according to the power of God,

2 Timothy 1:12

12 for which cause I also suffer these things; yet I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have intrusted to him till that day.

2 Timothy 1:14

14 That good thing which was intrusted to you, keep by the Holy Spirit that dwells in us.

2 Timothy 1:16

16 May the Lord give mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

2 Timothy 1:18

18 The Lord grant to him, that he may find mercy from the Lord in that day. And in how many things he ministered to me in Ephesus, you know very well.

2 Timothy 2:1

1 Do you, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus; 2 and the things which you have heard from me through many witnesses, these do you commit to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 3 Do you, there fore, suffer evil, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2 Timothy 2:9

9 in which I suffer evil, as an evil-doer, even to bonds: but the word of God is not bound.

2 Timothy 2:11-12

11 Assuredly true is the saying: If indeed we have died with him, we shall also live with him; 12 if we are patient, we shall also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

2 Timothy 2:14

14 Put them in mind of these things, charging them before the Lord that they dispute not about words to no profit, which disputes end in the overthrow of the hearers.

2 Timothy 3:10-12

10 But you have fully known my teaching, my course of life, my purpose, my faithfulness, my long-suffering, my love, my patience, 11 my persecutions, my sufferings which came upon me in Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; you well know what persecutions I endured: and yet out of them all, the Lord delivered me. 12 And all that will live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution.

2 Timothy 3:14

14 But do you continue in the things which you have learned and well understood, knowing from whom you learned them, 15 and that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise in order to salvation, through faith that is in Christ Jesus.

2 Timothy 4:2

2 preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and teaching.

2 Timothy 4:5

5 But do you be watchful in all things, endure evil, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.?

2 Timothy 4:8

8 henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day; and not to me only, but to all those who love his appearing. 9 Endeavor to come to me shortly; 10 for Demas has forsaken me, having loved the present age; and he has gone to Thessalonica, Crescens to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for the ministry. 12 I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

2 Timothy 4:16-17

16 At my first defense no one stood by me, but all forsook me; may it not be laid to their charge:

2 Timothy 4:16

16 At my first defense no one stood by me, but all forsook me; may it not be laid to their charge: 17 but the Lord stood by me, and gave me strength, that through me that which is preached might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

2 Timothy 4:17-17

17 but the Lord stood by me, and gave me strength, that through me that which is preached might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

21 Endeavor to come to me before winter. Eubulus and Pudens and Linus and Claudia and all the brethren salute you.

Titus 1:2

2 in hope of eternal life, which God, who can not lie, promised be fore the times of the ages, 3 but he has in his own times manifested his word by preaching, which was committed to me ac cording to the commandment of God our Savior; 4 to Titus, my true son, according to the common faith: grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.

Titus 1:9

9 holding fast the sure word as it is taught, that he may be able, by sound teaching, both to exhort and to convince the opposers.

Titus 2:1

1 But do you speak the things that become sound teaching;

Titus 2:8

8 sound speech that can not be condemned; that he that is opposed may be ashamed, seeing he has no evil thing to say of us.

11 For the grace of God, which brings salvation to all men, has appeared,

13 looking for the blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

4 But when the kindness and philanthropy of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,

Titus 3:4

4 But when the kindness and philanthropy of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, 5 not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Philemon 1:7

7 For we have great joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.

Philemon 1:20

20 Yes, brother, let me have joy of you in the Lord: refresh my heart in the Lord.

Hebrews 2:14-15

14 Since, then, the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also, in like manner, partook of the same, that, through his death, he might deprive of power him that has the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 and might set free those who, through fear of death, were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Hebrews 2:15-15

Hebrews 3:1

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

Hebrews 3:6

6 but Christ, as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold the confidence and the joy of our hope firm to the end.

Hebrews 4:14

14 Seeing, then, that we have a great high priest, who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

2 of the teaching with respect to immersions, and of the laying on of hands, of the resurrection of the dead, and of eternal condemnation.

Hebrews 6:9

9 But, beloved, we are confident of better things concerning you, and of things that tend to salvation, though we thus speak. 10 For God is not unjust, that he should forget your work, and the love which you have shown for his name by having ministered to the saints, and by continuing to minister.

1 Peter 1:10

10 Concerning which salvation the prophets that prophesied of the grace that should be for you, did inquire, and search diligently,

1 Peter 1:15-16

15 but as he who has called you is holy, so be you holy in all your behavior: 16 because it is written, Be you holy, for I am holy.

1 Peter 1:20

20 who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you,

1 Peter 1:20-21

20 who was indeed foreordained before the foundation of the world, but manifested in these last times for you, 21 who through him do believe in God who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God. 22 Having purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit, to unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another with a pure heart fervently,

1 Peter 2:20-21

20 For what praise is due, if, when you are punished for your faults, you endure it patiently? 1 Peter 4:10-11

10 As each has received a gift, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 If any man speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God: if any man acts as a deacon, let him do this as from the strength which God supplies; that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and strength from age to age. Amen.

1 Peter 4:13-15

13 But, inasmuch as you are partakers of the sufferings of the Christ,, rejoice, that, at the revelation of his glory, you may also be exceedingly joyful. 14 If you are reproached on account of Christ, happy are you: for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you. On their part he is reviled, but on your part he is glorified: 15 for no one of you should suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a busybody in other men's matters. 16 But if any one suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God on this account.
