²⁰ for if our heart condemn us, we know that God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

²⁴ But Jesus did not trust himself to them, because he knew all men, ²⁵ and had no need that any one should testify of man, for he himself knew what was in man.

²⁴ But if all prophesy, and there comes in an unbeliever, or an unlearned man, he is convinced by all, he is examined by all, ²⁵ and the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God, and report that God is really among you.

¹¹ knowing that such a one is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.

¹³ And there is no creature which is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked, and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give an ac count.

¹³ For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,

⁴ You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because he that is in you, is greater than he that is in the world.

²³ And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he that searches the reins and the hearts: and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
