²⁵ but now, [I say], I go unto Jerusalem, ministering unto the saints.

²¹ but taking his leave of them, and saying, I will return again unto you if God will, he set sail from Ephesus.

²¹ Now after these things were ended, Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have been there, I must also see Rome.

¹⁶ For Paul had determined to sail past Ephesus, that he might not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hastening, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

²² And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

¹⁷ Now after some years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings:

²⁶ For it hath been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints that are at Jerusalem. ²⁷ Yea, it hath been their good pleasure; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it [to them] also to minister unto them in carnal things. ²⁸ When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by you unto Spain. ²⁹ And I know that, when I come unto you, I shall come in the fulness of the blessing of Christ.
³⁰ Now I beseech you, brethren, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me; ³¹ that I may be delivered from them that are disobedient in Judζa, and [that] my ministration which [I have] for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints;

¹ Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye. ² Upon the first day of the week let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come. ³ And when I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve, them will I send with letters to carry your bounty unto Jerusalem:

¹⁰ only [they would] that we should remember the poor; which very thing I was also zealous to do.
