² That thou mayest preserve discretion,
And that thy lips may keep knowledge.

² Thou art fairer than the children of men;
Grace is poured into thy lips:
Therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

¹⁵ My mouth shall tell of thy righteousness,
[And] of thy salvation all the day;
For I know not the numbers [thereof].

¹³ With my lips have I declared
All the ordinances of thy mouth.

²¹ The lips of the righteous feed many;
But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

² The tongue of the wise uttereth knowledge aright;
But the mouth of fools poureth out folly.

⁷ The lips of the wise disperse knowledge;
But the heart of the foolish [doeth] not so.

²³ The heart of the wise instructeth his mouth,
And addeth learning to his lips.

¹⁵ There is gold, and abundance of rubies;
But the lips of knowledge are a precious jewel.

¹¹ Thy lips, O [my] bride, drop [as] the honeycomb:
Honey and milk are under thy tongue;
And the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

⁶ The law of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many away from iniquity. ⁷ For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth; for he is the messenger of Jehovah of hosts.
