³⁶ Then he left the multitudes, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Explain unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

²⁸ And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.

¹ On that day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

¹¹ And he answered and said unto them, { Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

²² And straightway he constrained the disciples to enter into the boat, and to go before him unto the other side, till he should send the multitudes away.

¹⁵ And Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us the parable. ¹⁶ And he said, { Are ye also even yet without understanding?

³⁹ And he sent away the multitudes, and entered into the boat, and came into the borders of Magadan.

¹⁷ [Some] of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father? ¹⁸ They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith. ¹⁹ Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, { Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me? ²⁰ Verily, verily, I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
