⁴⁸ And I bowed my head, and worshipped Jehovah, and blessed Jehovah, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter for his son.

²³ And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight did Milcah bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.

⁵² And it came to pass, that, when Abraham's servant heard their words, he bowed himself down to the earth unto Jehovah.

²⁰ and thou shalt teach them the statutes and the laws, and shalt show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

²¹ Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

⁸ I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

¹⁴ For this God is our God for ever and ever:
He will be our guide [even] unto death.

⁷ He led them also by a straight way,
That they might go to a city of habitation.

⁵ Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart,
And lean not upon thine own understanding: ⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge him,
And he will direct thy paths.

¹¹ I have taught thee in the way of wisdom;
I have led thee in paths of uprightness.

¹⁷ Thus saith Jehovah, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am Jehovah thy God, who teacheth thee to profit, who leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
