²⁵ Now to him that is of power to establish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

² I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

²² He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.

⁷ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals his secret to his servants the prophets.

¹⁷ For truly I say to you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

³⁵ That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

²³ And he turned him to his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that you see: ²⁴ For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which you hear, and have not heard them.

²⁰ And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

³² And now, brothers, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

¹⁶ In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

⁴ Who are you that judge another man's servant? to his own master he stands or falls. Yes, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand.

²³ But we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness;

¹ And I, brothers, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God. ² For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

⁷ But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world to our glory:

¹ Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

³ But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

⁵ For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

² And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

⁹ Having made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself:

³ How that by revelation he made known to me the mystery; (as I wrote before in few words, ⁴ Whereby, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) ⁵ Which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it is now revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

⁹ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

¹¹ According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

²⁰ Now to him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, ²¹ To him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

¹⁹ And for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

²⁶ Even the mystery which has been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: ²⁷ To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

¹³ To the end he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.

¹⁴ Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which has loved us, and has given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, ¹⁷ Comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work.

³ But the Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.

⁹ Who has saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

⁸ Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

² In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

²⁵ Why he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come to God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

¹⁰ Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: ¹¹ Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. ¹² To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they did minister the things, which are now reported to you by them that have preached the gospel to you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

²⁰ Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

¹⁰ But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

²⁴ Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, ²⁵ To the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
