⁵ For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honor.

²⁶ And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. ²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

⁶ Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of your kingdom is a right scepter.

⁴ Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;

²⁰ Bless the LORD, you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening to the voice of his word.

⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took on him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: ⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross. ⁹ Why God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: ¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

⁷ You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and did set him over the works of your hands:

⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

¹⁶ For truly he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

²⁰ Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, ²¹ Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
