⁸ I will hear what God the LORD will speak: for he will speak peace to his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

⁷ And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had worked folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done.

²⁵ Let not my lord, I pray you, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I your handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom you did send.

¹¹ The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

⁵ Gather my saints together to me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

⁴ But there is forgiveness with you, that you may be feared.

¹¹ A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

²² Though you should bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.

¹⁹ I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, said the LORD; and I will heal him.

¹¹ She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

¹⁹ Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the middle, and said to them, Peace be to you.

²⁶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the middle, and said, Peace be to you.

²⁶ To you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

³⁶ The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

⁹ But now, after that you have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn you again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto you desire again to be in bondage?

¹ Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: ² Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

¹⁷ And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were near.

¹⁶ Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

¹⁹ Nevertheless the foundation of God stands sure, having this seal, The Lord knows them that are his. And, Let every one that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

²⁶ For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, ²⁷ But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. ²⁸ He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: ²⁹ Of how much sorer punishment, suppose you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, with which he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite to the Spirit of grace?

²⁵ See that you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:

²⁰ For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. ²¹ For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. ²² But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

⁴ Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. ⁵ Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent.

¹⁹ As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
