⁴⁰ And I sought your disciples to cast him out; and they could not.

³¹ And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff on the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Why he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

²⁰ And Jesus said to them, Because of your unbelief: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

¹ Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

¹⁷ And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject to us through your name. ¹⁸ And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. ¹⁹ Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
