³⁴ And this shall be an everlasting statute to you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

¹⁰ And Aaron shall make an atonement on the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement on it throughout your generations: it is most holy to the LORD.

³¹ You shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

⁷ And you shall have on the tenth day of this seventh month an holy convocation; and you shall afflict your souls: you shall not do any work therein:

⁷ But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

²⁵ Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with blood of others;

³ But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

¹⁴ For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
