²⁹ Also can any understand the spreading of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

⁴⁴ And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there rises a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand. And he said, Go up, say to Ahab, Prepare your chariot, and get you down that the rain stop you not. ⁴⁵ And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

¹⁴ See, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

² Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth. ³ He directs it under the whole heaven, and his lightning to the ends of the earth. ⁴ After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. ⁵ God thunders marvelously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

¹⁶ Do you know the balancing of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

⁹ When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling cloth for it,

³⁷ Who can number the clouds in wisdom? or who can stay the bottles of heaven,

¹³ The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

³ The voice of the LORD is on the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is on many waters. ⁴ The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. ⁵ The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yes, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon. ⁶ He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. ⁷ The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire. ⁸ The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh. ⁹ The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory. ¹⁰ The LORD sits on the flood; yes, the LORD sits King for ever.

¹⁶ The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. ¹⁷ The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: your arrows also went abroad. ¹⁸ The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightning lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook. ¹⁹ Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.

³ Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks on the wings of the wind:

⁷ At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hurried away.

³ The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD has his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

¹⁰ The mountains saw you, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.
