⁶ Let him that is taught in the word communicate to him that teaches in all good things.

¹⁹ Take heed to yourself that you forsake not the Levite as long as you live on the earth.

¹⁰ Nor money for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.

²⁷ It has pleased them truly; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister to them in carnal things.

⁹ For it is written in the law of Moses, You shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treads out the corn. Does God take care for oxen? ¹⁰ Or said he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that plows should plow in hope; and that he that threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope. ¹¹ If we have sown to you spiritual things, is it a great thing if we shall reap your carnal things? ¹² If others be partakers of this power over you, are not we rather? Nevertheless we have not used this power; but suffer all things, lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ. ¹³ Do you not know that they which minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at the altar are partakers with the altar? ¹⁴ Even so has the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel.

¹⁷ Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine. ¹⁸ For the scripture said, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the corn. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.
