¹⁹ Why my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

⁷ Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

² Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.

¹⁰ Now therefore why tempt you God, to put a yoke on the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

²⁴ For as much as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, You must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

²⁸ For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay on you no greater burden than these necessary things;

²⁰ But showed first to them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

⁷ Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. ⁸ But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed. ⁹ As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel to you than that you have received, let him be accursed. ¹⁰ For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

⁴ And that because of false brothers unawares brought in, who came in privately to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

¹¹ And I, brothers, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offense of the cross ceased. ¹² I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

⁹ For they themselves show of us what manner of entering in we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
