² I go the way of all the earth: be you strong therefore, and show yourself a man;

¹⁹ And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: ²⁰ That his heart be not lifted up above his brothers, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the middle of Israel.

⁶ Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you. ⁷ And Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.

²³ And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to them: and I will be with you.

⁶ Be strong and of a good courage: for to this people shall you divide for an inheritance the land, which I swore to their fathers to give them. ⁷ Only be you strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded you: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

¹⁴ And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and you know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God spoke concerning you; all are come to pass to you, and not one thing has failed thereof.

¹² Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the LORD do that which seems him good.

⁷ And now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.

²⁰ And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.

²² When a few years are come, then I shall go the way from where I shall not return.

²³ For I know that you will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

⁴⁸ What man is he that lives, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

¹³ Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

¹³ Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.

¹⁰ Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

¹² Let no man despise your youth; but be you an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

¹ You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

²⁷ And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:
