⁴ The wicked are not so, but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

⁹ Thou will make them as a fiery furnace in the time of thine anger. LORD will swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. ¹⁰ Thou will destroy their fruit from the earth, and their seed from among the sons of men.

It is good for thee to enter into life crippled, than having thy two feet to be cast into hell, into the unquenchable fire ⁴⁶ where their worm does not perish, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁷ And if thine eye may cause thee to stumble, pluck it out. It is good for thee to enter into the kingdom of God one-eyed, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire, ⁴⁸ where their worm does not perish, and the fire is not quenched. ⁴⁹ For every man will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be salted with salt material.
