¹³ For I am speaking to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify my office;

¹⁵ But the Lord said to him: Go; for he is to me a chosen vessel, to bear my name before Gentiles, and kings, and the sons of Israel;

² And while they were ministering to the Lord, and fasting, the Holy Spirit said: Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul, unto the work to which I have called them.

²¹ And he said to me: Depart; for I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles.

¹⁷ delivering thee from the people, and the Gentiles, to whom I send thee, ¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may obtain forgiveness of sins, and an inheritance among the sanctified, by faith in me.

¹⁶ that I should be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest in the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles may be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁷ I have therefore my glorying in Christ Jesus, as to things pertaining to God. ¹⁸ For I will not dare to speak of any of the things which Christ wrought not through me, to bring the Gentiles to obedience, by word and deed, ¹⁹ in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Holy Spirit; so that from Jerusalem, and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the good news of Christ;

¹⁶ to reveal his Son in me, that I should make known the glad news of him among the Gentiles; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood;

² And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles; but privately, to those of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run in vain.

⁷ But, on the contrary, seeing that I have been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, as Peter was with that of the circumcision; ⁸ (for he who wrought for Peter in behalf of the apostleship of the circumcision, wrought also for me in behalf of the Gentiles;) ⁹ and having learned the grace that was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas right hands of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision;

⁸ To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, was this grace given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

⁷ whereunto I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle (I speak truth, I lie not), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

¹¹ for which I was appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. ¹² For which cause I suffer also these things. But I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed to him, unto that day.
