Matthew 6:6-8

KJV(i) 6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. 7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
RKJNT(i) 6 But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret shall reward you. 7 But when you pray, do not use meaningless repetition, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their many words. 8 Therefore, do not be like them: for your Father knows what things you have need of, before you ask him.
