²⁰ in that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you;

¹⁹ And manifest also are the works of the flesh, which are: Adultery, whoredom, uncleanness, lasciviousness, ²⁰ idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strifes, emulations, wraths, rivalries, dissensions, sects, ²¹ envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revellings, and such like, of which I tell you before, as I also said before, that those doing such things the reign of God shall not inherit.

² I have known a man in Christ, fourteen years ago—whether in the body I have not known, whether out of the body I have not known, God hath known—such an one being caught away unto the third heaven; ³ and I have known such a man—whether in the body, whether out of the body, I have not known, God hath known, — ⁴ that he was caught away to the paradise, and heard unutterable sayings, that it is not possible for man to speak.

²⁰ with Christ I have been crucified, and live no more do I, and Christ doth live in me; and that which I now live in the flesh—in the faith I live of the Son of God, who did love me and did give himself for me;

³ As all things to us His divine power (the things pertaining unto life and piety) hath given, through the acknowledgement of him who did call us through glory and worthiness, ⁴ through which to us the most great and precious promises have been given, that through these ye may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped from the corruption in the world in desires.

⁶ `And the person who turneth unto those having familiar spirits, and unto the wizards, to go a-whoring after them, I have even set My face against that person, and cut him off from the midst of his people.

¹⁰ there is not found in thee one causing his son and his daughter to pass over into fire, a user of divinations, an observer of clouds, and an enchanter, and a sorcerer, ¹¹ and a charmer, and one asking at a familiar spirit, and a wizard, and one seeking unto the dead. ¹² `For the abomination of Jehovah is every one doing these, and because of these abominations is Jehovah thy God dispossessing them from thy presence.

¹³ and when He may come—the Spirit of truth—He will guide you to all the truth, for He will not speak from Himself, but as many things as He will hear He will speak, and the coming things He will tell you;

¹⁴ and no wonder—for even the Adversary doth transform himself into a messenger of light;

²¹ for not by will of man did ever prophecy come, but by the Holy Spirit borne on holy men of God spake.

⁸ Jesus Christ yesterday and to-day the same, and to the ages; ⁹ with teachings manifold and strange be not carried about, for it is good that by grace the heart be confirmed, not with meats, in which they who were occupied were not profited;

⁵ for one is God, one also is mediator of God and of men, the man Christ Jesus,

⁸ See that no one shall be carrying you away as spoil through the philosophy and vain deceit, according to the deliverance of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ,

¹ And the Spirit expressly speaketh, that in latter times shall certain fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

¹ Beloved, every spirit believe not, but prove the spirits, if of God they are, because many false prophets have gone forth to the world;

¹² And we the spirit of the world did not receive, but the Spirit that is of God, that we may know the things conferred by God on us, ¹³ which things also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Holy Spirit, with spiritual things spiritual things comparing, ¹⁴ and the natural man doth not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for to him they are foolishness, and he is not able to know them, because spiritually they are discerned; ¹⁵ and he who is spiritual, doth discern indeed all things, and he himself is by no one discerned; ¹⁶ for who did know the mind of the Lord that he shall instruct Him? and we—we have the mind of Christ.
