Bible verses about "birds" | YLT

Genesis 1:21

21 And God prepareth the great monsters, and every living creature that is creeping, which the waters have teemed with, after their kind, and every fowl with wing, after its kind, and God seeth that it is good.

Psalms 91:1-16

1 He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually, 2 He is saying of Jehovah, `My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,' 3 For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence. 4 With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler is His truth. 5 Thou art not afraid of fear by night, Of arrow that flieth by day, 6 Of pestilence in thick darkness that walketh, Of destruction that destroyeth at noon, 7 There fall at thy side a thousand, And a myriad at thy right hand, Unto thee it cometh not nigh. 8 But with thine eyes thou lookest, And the reward of the wicked thou seest,
9 (For Thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation. 10 Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent, 11 For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways, 12 On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot. 13 On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon. 14 Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him—I set him on high, Because he hath known My name. 15 He doth call Me, and I answer him, I am with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him. 16 With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!

Proverbs 27:8

8 As a bird wandering from her nest, So is a man wandering from his place.

Matthew 10:29

29 `Are not two sparrows sold for an assar? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father;

Matthew 10:16

32 which less, indeed, is than all the seeds, but when it may be grown, is greatest of the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven do come and rest in its branches.'

Luke 12:24

24 `Consider the ravens, that they sow not, nor reap, to which there is no barn nor storehouse, and God doth nourish them; how much better are ye than the fowls?

Genesis 1:20

20 And God saith, `Let the waters teem with the teeming living creature, and fowl let fly on the earth on the face of the expanse of the heavens.'

Psalms 50:11

Matthew 6:26

26 look to the fowls of the heaven, for they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into storehouses, and your heavenly Father doth nourish them; are not ye much better than they?

Matthew 6:25-34

25 `Because of this I say to you, be not anxious for your life, what ye may eat, and what ye may drink, nor for your body, what ye may put on. Is not the life more than the nourishment, and the body than the clothing? 26 look to the fowls of the heaven, for they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather into storehouses, and your heavenly Father doth nourish them; are not ye much better than they? 27 `And who of you, being anxious, is able to add to his age one cubit? 28 and about clothing why are ye anxious? consider well the lilies of the field; how do they grow? they do not labour, nor do they spin; 29 and I say to you, that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed as one of these. 30 `And if the herb of the field, that to-day is, and to-morrow is cast to the furnace, God doth so clothe—not much more you, O ye of little faith? 31 therefore ye may not be anxious, saying, What may we eat? or, What may we drink? or, What may we put round? 32 for all these do the nations seek for, for your heavenly Father doth know that ye have need of all these; 33 but seek ye first the reign of God and His righteousness, and all these shall be added to you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow, for the morrow shall be anxious for its own things; sufficient for the day is the evil of it.
