⁵ For o God and a mediatour is of God and of men, a man Crist Jhesus,

³⁸ But Y am certeyn, that nethir deeth, nether lijf, nether aungels, nethir principatus, nether vertues, nether present thingis, nether thingis to comynge, nether strengthe, ³⁹ nether heiyth, nether depnesse, nether noon othir creature may departe vs fro the charite of God, that is in `Crist Jhesu oure Lord.

¹² Sotheli a weie is, that semeth iust to a man; but the laste thingis therof leden forth to deth.

⁸ But God comendith his charite in vs; for if whanne we weren yit synneris,

²⁸ Alle ye that traueilen, and ben chargid, come to me, and Y schal fulfille you. ²⁹ Take ye my yok on you, and lerne ye of me, for Y am mylde and meke in herte; and ye schulen fynde reste to youre soulis.
