²⁰ And Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I tell you, if ye had but faith as a grain of mustard-seed, ye might say to this mountain, Remove from hence thither, and it shall remove: and nothing would be impossible to you.

²³ and happy is he who shall not be offended at any thing in me.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him might not perish, but have everlasting life:

⁶ But let him ask in faith, nothing doubting; for he that doubteth is like a wave of the sea blown about and tossed by the wind.

¹⁴ Be not unsuitably connected with infidels: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? or what communion hath light with darkness? ¹⁵ what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath a believer with an infidel? ¹⁶ and what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God: as God hath said, "I will dwell in them, and I will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." ¹⁷ Wherefore, "come out from the midst of them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing," and I will receive you: ¹⁸ and I will be a father unto you, and ye shall be to me for sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

³ These things teach and exhort. If any one teach otherwise, and adhere not to the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the doctrine which is according to godliness; ⁴ he is proud, knowing nothing, but is delirious about questions and strifes of words: from which cometh envy, contention, calumnies, wicked suspicions, perverse debates of men corrupted in mind, ⁵ and void of truth, accounting gain to be godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth under the wicked one. ²⁰ But we know that the son of God is come, and hath given us understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, and in his son Jesus Christ: He is the true God, and eternal life. ²¹ Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

²¹ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:

¹⁴ for there are many called, but few approved.

²⁷ Then saith He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not incredulous, but believing. ²⁸ And Thomas answered, and said, "My Lord and my God." ²⁹ Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

⁵ having a form of godliness, but strangers to the power of it: from such turn away.

¹⁵ Love not the world, nor the things that are in the world; for if any one love the world to excess, the love of the Father is not in him. ¹⁶ For all that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but of the world. ¹⁷ And the world passeth away, and the desire of it: but he, that doth the will of God, abideth for ever.

⁸ For by grace ye are saved, through faith: and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: not by works, that no one may boast:

²² And on some have compassion, making a difference; others save with fear,

¹⁶ he that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not, shall be condemned.

⁴⁸ He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word, that I have spoken, will condemn him at the last day.

¹⁸ He that believeth on Him is not condemned: but he that believeth not, is already condemned; because he hath not believed on the name of the only-begotten Son of God. ¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

¹¹ And for this cause God will send upon them the efficacy of error, so that they shall themselves believe the lie: ¹² that they may all be condemned, who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in iniquity.

²³ And Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. ²⁴ And the father of the child immediately cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe, help thou my unbelief. ²⁵ when Jesus saw the people flock together, He rebuked the impure spirit, and said to him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, Come out of him, and enter no more into him.
