¹⁷ So that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

¹⁹ Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

¹ And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour:

³⁴ Let your women be silent in your assemblies: for it is not permitted to them to speak, but they are to be in subjection, as the law saith. ³⁵ And if they would learn any thing, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it does not become women to speak in a public assembly.

¹¹ Let the woman learn in silence with all submission: but I permit not a woman to teach, ¹² nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be silent. ¹³ For Adam was formed first, then Eve. ¹⁴ And Adam was not seduced by the serpent, but the woman being led astray was first in the transgression.
