³¹ Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

¹⁴ for the body is not one member, but many. ¹⁵ If the foot should say, "Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁶ And if the ear should say, "Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body," is it therefore not of the body? ¹⁷ If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? and if the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? ¹⁸ But now God hath placed the members, every one of them in the body, as He pleased. ¹⁹ And if they were all one member, where were the body?

³³ Even as I also endeavour to please all men in all things, not seeking my own advantage, but that of many, that they may be saved.

¹⁴ and let all your affairs be carried on in love.

³⁰ and even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

⁷ Nay the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Be not therefore afraid; ye are of more worth than many sparrows.

¹⁹ For though I am free from all, yet I have made myself a servant to all, that I might gain the more. ²⁰ And to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; that is, to those, who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law: ²¹ and to those without the law as without the law, (not being without law to God, but under the law to Christ) that I might gain those who are without the law. ²² To the weak I became as the weak, that I might gain the weak: I became all things to all men, that I might by every means save some. ²³ And this I do for the sake of the gospel, that I may be a fellow partaker of it.

²⁰ whereas now there are many members, yet but one body.

⁴ For as in one body we have many members, and all the members have not the same office: ⁵ so we who are many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of each other. ⁶ But having different gifts, according to the grace conferred upon us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith: ⁷ or ministry, let us attend to the ministry: or he that teacheth, on teaching: or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: ⁸ he that distributeth, let him do it with integrity: he that presideth, with diligence: he that sheweth mercy, with chearfulness.

¹ Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do ye, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, least thou also shouldst be tempted. ² Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. ³ For if any one thinketh that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. ⁴ But let every one try his own work, and then he will have matter of glorying in himself alone, and not in another. ⁵ For every one shall bear his own burthen. ⁶ And let him, that is instructed in the word, communicate in all good things to him that instructeth. ⁷ Be not deceived, God is not to be mocked: for whatever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ⁸ He then, who soweth to his flesh, shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he, that soweth to the Spirit, shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. ⁹ And let us not be weary in doing good: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. ¹⁰ And therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, but especially to those who are of the houshold of faith. ¹¹ Ye see in how large letters I have written to you with my own hand. ¹² They, who want to make a fair appearance in the flesh, would constrain you to be circumcised; only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. ¹³ For they, who are circumcised, do not themselves keep the law: but they would have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. ¹⁴ But God forbid that I should glory, unless in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified to me, and I to the world. ¹⁵ For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but being created anew. ¹⁶ And as many as shall walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be on them, even upon all the Israel of God. ¹⁷ For the future, let no one give me uneasiness: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. ¹⁸ The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, my brethren. Amen.

⁷ As inanimate things which give a found, whether pipe or harp, unless they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall what is piped or harped be understood?
