¹² All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.

⁷ for I could wish that all men were as I myself am; but every man hath his proper gift from God, one of one kind and another of another? ⁸ Now to the unmarried and widows I say, it is good for them to continue so, as I do. ⁹ But if they have not the gift of continence, let them marry; for it is better to marry than to burn with lust.

³⁹ Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

¹ Judge not, that ye be not judged: ² for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you. ³ And why dost thou look at the splinter in thy brother's eye, but takest no notice of the beam in thine own eye? ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the chaff out of thine eye, and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye? ⁵ Thou hypocrite, first get the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see how to take the splinter out of thy brother's eye.

¹¹ but He said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying of yours, but those only who have the gift of continence: ¹² for there are some eunuchs, who were born so from their mother's womb; and there be some, who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs, who have made themselves eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. He that can receive this saying, let him receive it.

⁸ Owe no one any thing, but to love one another; for he that loveth others hath fulfilled the law: ⁹ for this command, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet, and every other social precept, is summed up in this, namely, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." ¹⁰ Love worketh no evil to our neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

⁹ What! know ye not that the unjust shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor sodomites, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor rapacious persons, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the spirit of our God.

⁸ But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own family, he hath renounced the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

¹² Now there is but one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou then that judgest another?

²⁸ and there is neither Jew nor Greek, those is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

¹⁴ For all the law is fulfilled in one precept, even in this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

⁷ as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner with them committing lewdness, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of perpetual fire.

²⁷ and the men likewise, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust to one another, men with men committing shame, and receiving in themselves the recompence of their error which they deserved.
