²¹ That they all may be one, as Thou, O Father, art in me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. ²² And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them: that they may be one, even as we are one. ²³ I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.

⁴² And they continued stedfast in the apostles doctrine, and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

⁴⁴ And all that believed were together, and had all things common. ⁴⁵ And they sold their possessions and goods, and distributed to all, according as any one had need. ⁴⁶ And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, ⁴⁷ praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

¹² that is to say, that being among you we may be comforted together by the faith of each, both yours and mine.

⁷ but if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have communion with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

⁸ Finally, my beloved, be unanimous, be sympathizing, love as brethren, be compassionate, be courteous:

³⁰ for we are members of his body, as if taken out of his flesh, and of his bones, as Eve was out of Adam's.

²⁰ for where two or three are assembled together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

² Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

³ and was manifested unto us) what we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that ye also may have communion with us: and our communion is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

²⁴ (for He is faithful who hath promised) and let us observe each other to the incitement of love and good works: ²⁵ not forsaking our assemblies, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more as ye see the day approaching.

¹¹ Wherefore comfort one another, and edify each other, as indeed ye do.
