⁹ But as it is written, "Eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, what things God hath prepared for those that love Him."

²⁶ For if we sin wilfully after having received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins;

¹ Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the spirits, whether they be of God: for many false prophets are gone out into the world.

²³ If any one hath ears to hear, let him hear. ²⁴ And mind what ye hear: for with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you; and more shall be imparted to you that are observant:

³ For the time will come, when they will not bear sound doctrine; but having itching ears, will heap up to themselves teachers after their own hearts: ⁴ and turn away their attention from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.
