James 2:8

8 If ye fulfil the royal law, according to the scripture, which saith, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well.

Ephesians 4:26

26 Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath;

2 Timothy 3:1-4:22

1 But this know, that in the last days there will be difficult times; 2 for men will be selfish, covetous, arrogant, proud, blasphemers, undutiful to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, perfidious, false accusers, intemperate, savage, enemies to the good, traitors, 4 headstrong, conceited, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness, but strangers to the power of it: from such turn away. 6 For of these are they who insinuate themselves into families, and captivate weak women, that are laden with sins, 7 and led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 And as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also withstand the truth; being men of corrupt minds, and of no judgement in the faith. 9 But they shall not proceed far: for their folly shall be evident to all, as theirs also was. 10 But thou art well acquainted with my doctrine, conduct, purpose, faith, long-suffering, charity, patience, persecutions, 11 sufferings, which befel me at Antioch, in Iconium, in Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and how the Lord delivered me out of them all. 12 And indeed all, that are desirous to live godly in Christ Jesus, shall suffer persecution. 13 But wicked men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learnt, and been assured of, knowing from whom thou hast learned them; 15 and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation, through faith in Christ Jesus: for all scripture is by inspiration from God, 16 and is profitable for doctrine, for conviction, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly fitted for every good work.

2 Timothy 4:1-22

1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing, in his kingdom; 2 preach the word, be instant both in season and out of season; convince, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and instruction. 3 For the time will come, when they will not bear sound doctrine; but having itching ears, will heap up to themselves teachers after their own hearts: 4 and turn away their attention from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. 5 But be thou watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, give full proof of thy ministry. 6 For I am now going to be sacrificed, and the time of my dissolution is near. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished my race, I have kept the faith. 8 As to what remains, there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me in that day: and not to me only, but also to all those who have longed for his appearance. 9 Endeavour to come to me soon: for Demas hath forsaken me, 10 through love of this world, and is gone to Thessalonica; as is Crescens to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia: Luke only is with me. 11 Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is useful to me in the ministry. 12 And I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus. 13 When thou comest, bring with thee the cloke, that I left at Troas with Carpus; and the books, but especially the parchments. 14 Alexander the brazier did me many ill turns: the Lord will reward him according to his deeds. 15 Of whom do thou also beware: for he hath greatly opposed our doctrine. 16 In my first defence no one stood by me, but all men forsook me: God grant it may not be laid to their charge! 17 But the Lord stood by me, and strengthened me; that by me the gospel might be fully spread, and that all the nations might hear: and so I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory throughout all ages. Amen. 19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the family of Onesiphorus. 20 Erastus staid at Corinth, and I left Trophimus sick at Miletus. 21 Endeavour therefore to come to me before winter. Eubulus saluteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and indeed all the brethren. 22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you all. Amen.

Acts 11:26

26 And they assembled in the church a whole year, and taught much people: and the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.

James 4:1

1 Whence come wars and fightings among you? Come they not hence? even of your carnal appetites making war in your bodies?

Matthew 6:24

24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or at lest he will be attached to the one, and neglect the other: ye cannot serve God and mammon:

1 Peter 4:16

16 But if any suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God herein.
