²² But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

¹ Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you to me, indeed, is not irksome, while for you it is safe.

¹ Therefore, my brethren, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, beloved.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. ⁵ Let your forbearance be known to all men: the Lord is near! ⁶ Be anxious for nothing; but, in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God: ⁷ and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

³ And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations; knowing that tribulation works out patience; ⁴ and patience, approval; and approval, hope;
