¹⁹ going, therefore, disciple ye all the nations, immersing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I commanded you; and, behold, I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age."

²⁶ But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all things that I told you.

¹ Become imitators of me, even as I also am of Christ.

And he besought Philip, having come up, to sit with him.

⁵ Likewise, ye younger, be subject to the elder; yea, all of you gird on the lowly mind to serve one another; because "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the lowly." ⁶ Be humbled, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due season; ⁷ having cast all your anxiety on Him, because He careth for you.

³ that aged women, in like manner, be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good;

⁸ so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart to you, not only the Gospel of God, but also our own souls, because ye became dear to us.

¹ The elders, therefore, I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of Christ's sufferings, also a partaker of the glory about to be revealed; ² feed the flock of God which is among you, overseeing it, not by constraint, but willingly; nor yet for base gain, but of a ready mind; ³ neither as lording it over the allotted charges, but becoming examples to the flock; ⁴ and, when the Chief Shepherd is manifested, ye will obtain the unfading crown of glory. ⁵ Likewise, ye younger, be subject to the elder; yea, all of you gird on the lowly mind to serve one another; because "God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the lowly."

² And the things which you heard from me, through many witnesses, these commit to faithful men, who will be competent to teach others also. ³ that aged women, in like manner, be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers, not enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; ⁴ that they may train the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children, ⁵ to be sober, pure, workers at home, good, submitting themselves to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
