³⁴ Jesus answered them, "Verily, verily, I say to you, every one who commits sin is a slave of sin.

¹⁸ Flee fornication. Every sin which a man commits is without the body; but he that commits adultery sins against his own body.

³ For, though walking in flesh, we are not warring according to the flesh, ⁴ (for the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God for the casting down of strongholds); ⁵ casting down reasonings, and every high thing lifting itself up against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the assembly, and delivered Himself up for it,

²⁸ but I say to you, that every one who looks upon a woman, to lust after her, already committed adultery with her in his heart.

³² but I say to you, that every one who puts away his wife, except on account of fornication, makes her commit adultery: and whosoever marries her when put away commits adultery.

⁴ Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
