Matthew 6:33

33 But as your first duty keep on looking for His standard of doing right, and for His will, and then all these things will be yours besides.

Matthew 4:1-25

1 Then Jesus was guided by the Spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, He at last felt hungry. 3 And the tempter came up and said to Him, "If you are God's Son, order these stones to turn to bread." 4 But he answered, "The Scripture says, 'Not on bread alone can man live, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" 5 Then the devil took Him into the holy city, and had Him stand on the tip-top turret of the temple, 6 and said to Him, "If you are God's Son, throw yourself down, for the Scripture says: "'He will give His angels directions about you, And they will bear you up on their hands, so you will never strike your foot against a stone.'" 7 Jesus said to him, "Again the Scripture says, 'You must not try the Lord your God.'" 8 Again the devil took him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their splendor, 9 and said to Him, "Every bit of this I will give to you, if you will fall on your knees and worship me." 10 Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For the Scripture says, 'You must worship the Lord your God, and serve Him alone.'" 11 Then the devil left Him, and angels came and continued to wait upon Him. 12 Now when Jesus heard that John had been arrested, He set out for Galilee. 13 But He left Nazareth and made His home in Capernaum, by the sea, in the district of Zebulon and Naphtali, 14 to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: 15 "Land of Zebulon and land of Naphtali, on the road to the sea, across the Jordan, Galilee of the nations; 16 The people that were living in darkness have seen a great light, and on those that were living in the land of the shadow of death; a light has dawned." 17 From that time Jesus continued to preach and say, "Repent! For the kingdom of heaven is near." 18 As He was walking by the shore of the sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was summed Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 19 He said to them, "Come! Follow me, and I will make you fishermen for catching men." 20 And at once they left the nets and followed Him. 21 And as He was going on from that point, He saw two others, brothers, James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John, in the boat with their father Zebedee, getting their nets in order; and He called them. 22 And at once they left the boat and their father, and followed Him. 23 Then He went all over Galilee, as He continued teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and curing any disease or malady among the people. 24 So the news about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, especially those who were suffering with torturing diseases; and he cured them. 25 So great crowds followed Him, from Galilee and Decapolis, from Jerusalem and Judea, and from the other side of Jordan.

Philippians 4:11-12

11 Not that I refer to any personal want, for I have learned to be contented in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to live in lowly circumstances and I know how to live in plenty. I have learned the secret, in all circumstances, of either getting a full meal or of going hungry, of living in plenty or being in want.

1 Timothy 5:8

8 Whoever fails to provide for his own relatives, and especially for those of his immediate family, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Philippians 4:19

19 My God will amply supply your every need, through Christ Jesus, from His riches in glory.

2 Corinthians 9:8

8 And God is able to make your every spiritual blessing overflow for you, so that you will always have in every situation an entire sufficiency and so overflow for every good cause;
