Bible verses about "individuality" | Williams

1 Corinthians 10:31

31 So if you eat or drink or do anything else, do everything to honor God.

1 Corinthians 12:14-19

14 For the body does not consist of one part but of many. 15 If the foot says, "Since I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body. 16 If the ear says, "Since I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If all the body were an eye, how could we hear? If all the body were an ear, how could we smell? 18 But as it now is, God has placed the parts, every one of them, in the body just as He wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, how could it be a body?

1 Corinthians 16:14

14 let everything be done in love.

1 Corinthians 10:33

33 just as I myself am in the habit of pleasing everybody in everything, not aiming at my own welfare but at that of as many people as possible, in order that they may be saved.

Matthew 10:30

30 Even the very hairs on your head have all been counted by God.

Luke 12:7

7 Yes, the very hairs on your heads have all been counted by God! Stop being afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

1 Corinthians 9:19-23

19 Yes, indeed, though I am free from any human power, I have made myself a slave to everybody, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I have become like a Jew for the winning of Jews; to men under the law, like one under the law, though I am not under the law myself, to win the men under the law; 21 to men who have no written law, like one without any law, though I am not without God's law but specially under Christ's law, to win the men who have no written law. 22 To the overscrupulous I have become overscrupulous, to win the overscrupulous; yes, I have become everything to everybody, in order by all means to save some of them. 23 And I do it all for the sake of the good news, so as to share with others in its blessings.

1 Corinthians 12:20

20 But as it now is, there are many parts, but one body.

Romans 12:4-8

4 For just as we have many parts united in our physical bodies, and the parts do not all have the same function, 5 so we, though many, are united in one body through union with Christ, and we are individually parts of one another. 6 As we have gifts that differ in accordance with the favor God has shown us, if it is that of preaching, let it be done in proportion to our faith; 7 or of practical service, in the field of service; or of a teacher, in the field of teaching; 8 or of one who encourages others, in the field of encouragement; or one who gives his money, with liberality; or one who leads others, with earnestness; or one who does deeds of charity, with cheerfulness.

Galatians 6:1-18

1 Brothers, if anybody is caught in the very act of doing wrong, you who are spiritual, in the spirit of gentleness, must set him right; each of you continuing to think of yourself, for you may be tempted too. 2 Practice bearing one another's burdens, and in this way carry out the law of Christ. 3 For if anybody thinks he is somebody when really he is nobody, he deceives himself. 4 Everyone should test his own work until it stands the test, and then he will have ground for boasting with reference to himself alone, and not with reference to someone else. 5 For everyone must carry his own load. 6 Those who are taught the truth should share all their goods with the man who teaches them. 7 Do not be deceived anymore; God is not to be scoffed at. A person will reap just what he sows, whatever it is. 8 The person who sows to gratify his lower nature will reap destruction from that lower nature, and the person who sows to gratify his higher nature will reap eternal life from the Spirit. 9 Let us stop getting tired of doing good, for at the proper time we shall reap if we do not give up. 10 So then whenever we have an opportunity, let us practice doing good to everybody, but especially to the members of the family of faith. 11 See what large letters I make, when I write to you with my own hand! 12 These men who are trying to force you to let yourselves be circumcised simply want to make a fine outward show, only to keep you from being persecuted for the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. 13 Indeed, the very men who let themselves be circumcised do not themselves observe the law. But they simply want you to let yourselves be circumcised, so that they can boast of you as members of their party. 14 But may it never be mine to boast of anything but the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me and I to the world! 15 For neither circumcision nor the lack of it has any value, but only a new creation. 16 Now peace and mercy be on all who walk by this rule; that is, on the true Israel of God. 17 Let nobody trouble me after this, for I carry on my body the scars that mark me as Jesus' slave. 18 The spiritual blessing of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.

1 Corinthians 14:7

7 Even inanimate things, like the flute or the harp, may give out sounds, but if there is no difference in the notes, how can the tune that is played on the flute or the harp be told?

1 Corinthians 12:14-20

14 For the body does not consist of one part but of many. 15 If the foot says, "Since I am not a hand, I am not a part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body. 16 If the ear says, "Since I am not an eye, I am not a part of the body," that does not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If all the body were an eye, how could we hear? If all the body were an ear, how could we smell? 18 But as it now is, God has placed the parts, every one of them, in the body just as He wanted them to be. 19 If they were all one part, how could it be a body? 20 But as it now is, there are many parts, but one body.

Galatians 6:4

4 Everyone should test his own work until it stands the test, and then he will have ground for boasting with reference to himself alone, and not with reference to someone else.
