¹⁵ "If you really love me, you will keep my commands.

¹³ No temptation has taken hold of you but what is common to human nature. And God is to be trusted not to let you be tempted beyond your strength, but when temptation comes, to make a way out of it, so that you can bear up under it.

² Now in this matter of trustees the first and final requirement is that they should prove to be trustworthy.

¹³ If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful, for He cannot prove false to Himself."

⁴² And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful, thoughtful manager whom his master will put in charge of his household, to give out the supplies at the proper time? ⁴³ Happy is that slave whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. ⁴⁴ I tell you truly, he will put him in charge of all his property.

⁸ Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, yes, forever.

²² But the product of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, self-control. There is no law against such things.

⁹ If we confess our sins, He is to be depended on, since He is just, to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from every wrong.

¹⁰ The man who is dependable in a very small matter is dependable also in a large deal, the man who is dishonest in a very small matter is dishonest also in a large deal. ¹¹ So if you have not proved dependable in handling your ill-gotten riches, who will trust you with the true riches? ¹² And if you have not proved dependable in what belongs to someone else, who will trust you with what belongs to you?
