³² For if ye love them who love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do this. ³³ And if ye do good to them who do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do the same. ³⁴ And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive again.

¹ We then that are strong, ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please our selves. ² Let every one of us please [his] neighbour for good to edification. ³ For even Christ pleased not himself; but as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.

³⁵ I have shewed you every thing, that so labouring ye ought to support the weak; and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

¹⁶ For where envying and strife [is], there [is] also confusion, and every evil work.

¹⁶ But to do good, and to communicate, forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased,

²⁶ Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.

⁴ No man that warreth, entangleth himself with the affairs of life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

²¹ For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

² Bear ye one another's burdens, andso fulfil the law of Christ.

¹ From whence [are] wars and whence fightings among you? [are they] not hence, of your lusts, that war in your members? ² Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

⁴ Charity suffereth long, [and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not it self, is not puffed up, ⁵ Doth not behave it self unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, ⁶ Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth:

³ [Do] nothing through strife, or vain-glory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves. ⁴ Looking, not every man on his own things, but evey man on the things of others.

²⁴ Let no man seek his own: but another's advantage.

¹⁷ But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

² For men will be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, ³ Without natural affection, truce breakers, false-accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, ⁴ Treacherous, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more that lovers of God;

⁴ Looking, not every man on his own things, but evey man on the things of others.
