Matthew 28:1-20

1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn towards the first [day] of the week, came Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, And came and rolled away the stone, and sat upon [it]. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead. 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for he is risen, as he said: come see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen; and behold, he goeth before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him; I have told you. 8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre, with fear and great joy, and did run to bring his disciples word. 9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying Hail. And they came, and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. 10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall ye see me. 11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and related unto the chief priests all the things that were done. 12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers, 13 Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. 14 And if this be heard by the governor, we will perswade him, and secure you. 15 So they took the pieces of Silver, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. 16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, unto a mountain whereJesus had appointed them. 17 And when they saw him, they worshipped: but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came, and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go ye now and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them unto the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the age.

Matthew 22:11

11 And when the king came to see the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment:

Acts 2:24-36

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of Hades: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. 25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw my Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved. 26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad: moreover also, my flesh shall rest in hope, 27 That thou wilt not leave my soul in Hades, neither wilt thou deliver thine holy One to see corruption. 28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt fill me with joy with thy countenance. 29 Men, brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us until this day: 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his heart* (*read loins), according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ, and to place him on his throne. 31 He foreseeing this before, spake of the resurrection of Christ, that he was not left in Hades, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus therefore hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath poured out upon you this, which ye now both see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he said himself, The LORD saith unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes the footstool of thy feet. 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that Jesus whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Revelation 21:1-4

1 And I saw a new heaven, and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and I saw the sea no longer. 2 And I saw the holy new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, from God: prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself will be with them, [and be] their God. 4 And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; the former things are passed away.
