Matthew 7:12

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 22:35

35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked a question, tempting him, and saying,

Acts 5:34

34 Then stood there up one of the council, a Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little while.

1 John 4:1

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

John 8:32

32 And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Luke 10:25-37

25 But a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, What shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26 He said unto him, What is written in [the] law? how readest thou? 27 And he answering, said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength;and thy neighbour as thy self. 28 And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. 29 But he willing to justifie him self, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30 And Jesus answering, said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who both stripped [him] of his raiment, and wounded [him,] and departed, leaving [him] half-dead. 31 And there came a certain priest, who was going down that way;and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, seeing him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan as he journeyed, came to him: and when he saw him, he had compassion: 34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oyl and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought [him] to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow he took out two denarii, and gave to the host, and said, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou shall spend more, when I return, I will repay [it.] 36 Which therefore seems to thee to have been neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. But Jesus said onto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

1 Peter 4:1-6

1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm your selves likewise with the same mind; for he that hath suffered in the flesh, hath ceased from sin; 2 That he no longer should live the rest of [his] time in the flesh, to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 3 For the time past may suffice to have wrought the will of te Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries: 4 Wherein they think it strange that you run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]: 5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. 6 For, for this cause was the gospel preached also to the dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

Galatians 5:14

14 For all the law is fulfilled in you in one word, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self.

Romans 13:8-10

8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another, hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet; and if [there be] any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: And love [is] the fulfilling of the law.

Luke 11:45-52

45 But one of the lawyers, answered and said, unto him, Master, thus saying, thou reproachest us also. 46 And he said, Wo unto you also, lawyers: for ye burden men with burdens grievous to be born, and ye your selves touch them not with one of your fingers. 47 Wo unto you: for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets, and your fathers killed them. 48 Bear ye therefore witness that ye do not allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, but ye build [their sepulchres.] 49 Therefore I send them prophets and apostles, and [some] of them they will slay and persecute: 50 That the blood of all the prophets, which hath been shed from the foundation of the world, unto this generation may be required; 51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias, the Son of Barachias whom they slew between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, it shall be required of this generation. 52 Wo unto you lawyers: for ye have hidden the key of knowledge: and ye entred not in your selves, and them that were entring in, ye hindred.
