6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites; And he said, This people loveth me with [their] lips, but their heart hath departed far from me.
7 But in vain do they worship me, teaching doctrines, the commandments of men:
8 As the washing of pots and cups: and many other things ye do that are like [them]; leaving the command of God; ye hold the tradition of men.
9 And he said unto them, Well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may confirm your own tradition!

3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and the rust shall eat your flesh as fire: ye have heaped treasure together in the last days.
4 Behold the hire of the labourers, who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them who have reaped, are entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts.
5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, ye have been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts in days of slaughter.
