¹⁶ Verily, verily I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his Lord, neither he that is sent, greater than he that sent him.

³² And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

¹⁹ For there must be also heresies, that they also which are approved, may be made manifest among you.

⁹ The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

⁷ Now there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another: why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer your selves to be defrauded?

¹ I therefore the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you, that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, ² With all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, forbearing one another in love; ³ Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit, in the bond of peace.

¹ Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? ² Or do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? ³ Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? ⁴ If then ye have judicatures of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. ⁵ I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man amongst you, that shall be able to judge between his brethren? ⁶ But brother goeth to law with brother, and that with unbelievers. ⁷ Now there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another: why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer your selves to be defrauded? ⁸ Nay, you do wrong and defraud, and that brethren.

³¹ Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil-speaking be put away from you, with all malice. ³² Be ye therefore kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us.

¹ Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; ² And walk in love, as Christ also hath saved us, and hath given himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God, for a sweet-smelling savour.
