Luke 1:45

45 And blessed [is] she that hath believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

Matthew 22:1-46

1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again in parables, and said, 2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants, to call them that were invited to the marriage feast, and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, tell them who we invited, Behold I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage feast. 5 But they made light of [it], and went their ways, some to their field, and others to their merchandise: 6 And the remnant took his servants, and treated [them] injuriously, and slew [them]. 7 When the king heard [it], he was wroth: and he sent forth his army, and destroyed those murderers, and burnt up their city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, the marriage feast is ready, but they who were invited were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the high-ways, and a many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast. 10 So his Servants went out into the high-ways, and gathered together all those that they found, both bad and good: and the marriage feast was furnished with guests. 11 And when the king came to see the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding-garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou hither, not having a wedding-garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to his servants, Take him by his hands and feet, and cast [him] into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, 14 For the called are many, but the chosen are few. 15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in talk. 16 And they sent out unto him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Master we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men. 17 What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Cesar, or not? 18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites? 19 Shew me the tribute-money. And they brought unto him a denarius. 20 Jesus saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Cesars. Then saith he unto them, Render unto Cesar, the things which are Cesars; and, unto God, the things which are Gods. 22 When they heard [it], they marvelled, and left him, and went their way. 23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection, and asked him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, that his brother shall marry his wife, and shall raise up seed unto his brother. 25 There were with us seven brethren, and the first when he had married a wife, deceased, and having no seed, left his wife to his brother. 26 Likewise the second, and the third, unto the seven. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection, whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, not are given in marriage; but are as the angels in heaven. 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. 33 And when the multitudes heard [it], they were astonished at his doctrine. 34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered to him. 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus saith unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second [is] like unto this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. 41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, 42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, Of David. 43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying; 44 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I put thine enemies beneath thy feet. 45 If David then in the spirit, call him Lord, how is he his son? 46 And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that hour ask him any more questions.

John 15:11

11 But these things have I spoken unto you, that my joy in you might remain, and your joy might be full.

Romans 14:1-23

1 Him that is weak in the faith receive you, not to the judging of his reasonings. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: Let another who is weak, eat herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth, despise him that eateth not; let not him that eateth not, judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth: Yea, he shall be holden up: for God [is] able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord: And he that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both lived, and died, and rose again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother in not eating, or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment-seat of God. 11 For it is written, I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So every one of us shall render an account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling-block, or an occasion to fall in the brother's way. 14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of it self: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean. 15 For if thy brother be grieved with meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then our good be evil spoken of. 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ, [is] acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and observe the things wherewith one may edify another 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All thing indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil for that man who eateth with offence. 21 [It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine nor that whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is scandalized, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thy self before God. Happy [is] he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth, is condemned if he eat, because it is not of faith: for whatsoever [is] not of faith, is sin.

Romans 16:1-27

1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister, who is a deaconess of the church which is at Cenchrea: 2 That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of my self, and of many also. 3 greet Prisca and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus, and the church that is in their house. 4 Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. 5 Salute my welbeloved Epenetus, who is the first fruits of Asia in Christ. 6 Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour among you. 7 Salute Andronicus and Junias my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners who are of note among the apostles, who were in Christ Jesus before me. 8 Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord. 9 Salute Urbane our helper in the Lord, and Stachys my beloved. 10 Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them who are of Aristobulus [household], 11 Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the [household] of Narcissus, who are in the Lord. 12 Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, who laboured much in the Lord. 13 Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord; and his mother and mine. 14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermes, Patrobas, Hermas, and the brethren who are with them. 15 Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and also the saints who are with them. 16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. 17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark diligently them who cause divisions and scandals, saying or doing things contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. 18 For they that are such, serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words, deceive the hearts of the simple. 19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: and I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. 21 Timotheus my work-fellow, and Lucius and Jason and Sosipater my kinsmen, and the churches of Christ, salute you. 22 I Tertius, who wrote the epistle, salute you in the Lord. 23 Gaius mine host, and of the whole church, saluteth you. Erastus the chamberlain of the city saluteth you, and Quartus a brother. 24 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with you all. Amen. 25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith. 27 To God only wise, [be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever and ever. Amen.

Matthew 2:11

11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Luke 15:3-10

3 And he spake this parable unto them, 4 What man of you shall have an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not he leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and goeth away and seeketh that which is lost, until he find it? 5 And when he hath found [it,] he layeth [it] on his shoulders, rejoycing. 6 But when he cometh home, he calleth together [his] friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoyce with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7 But I say unto you, that likewise joy is in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who need no repentance. 8 Either what woman having ten drachmae, if she shall lose [one,] doth not she light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she shall find [it]? 9 And when she hath found [it,] she calleth [her] friends and neighbours together, saying, Rejoyce with me, for I have found the drachma which I had lost. 10 Likewise I say unto you, There shall be joy in the presence of the angels of God, over one sinner that repenteth.

Romans 14:5-6

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord: And he that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

1 Corinthians 5:8

Luke 15:23-24

23 And bring the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat and be merry. 24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again;he [was] lost, and is now found. And they began to be merry.
